Strengths-Based Approach, Restoring Balance and Hope

She specializes in substance abuse/dependence and domestic violence but her experience also includes dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, issues of adjustment, relationship and family dysfunction, anger, stress management, and grief.
Change is a process that we often do not go through alone. Helping people to learn to change the way they think through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques can empower them to improve decision making skills, avoid maladaptive urges to self harm, and feel hope that change is possible. Identifying strengths, providing tools, connecting to resources and supports, and enhancing personal awareness and self care are all important to promote growth and change. "Everyone has their own story and journey in life. I find it rewarding to assist others in any way I can to help make that journey a little easier."
